The StuRa sets up departments for individual areas of responsibility and elects members of the plenum as department heads and advisors. These work independently in the respective areas. According to the current statutes of the StuRa, the various departments are divided into seven working areas.
The departments implement the resolutions of the StuRa and develop new draft resolutions. They represent these resolutions in the university, politics and society. Officers coordinate activities in the area of their departments and answer inquiries to them.
